Went with the red lenses. They're brighter than I expected, but I like them. Took a photo outside because the colour looks different depending on the light.

I like how these look, but they aren't quite the right fit for my face. They move a little when I look down. Probably better if you usually wear wider frames.
Passt. Würde sie wieder nehmen.
Je les porte surtout pour me promener. Elles sont légères et ne me gênent pas avec une casquette. Les branches serrent un peu au début, puis je les oublie.
Good to know
What does Category 3 mean?
Category 3 is a dark tint for bright daylight, with 8–18% visible light transmission. It reduces the amount of light reaching your eyes. These lenses are not suitable for twilight or night driving.
How do the lens colours compare?
Ember and Glacier let through a similar amount of visible light. Shadow has the lowest transmission in these sample readings, so it is slightly darker.
| Measurement | Ember | Glacier | Shadow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visible light transmitted | 14.9% | 15.0% | 12.3% |
| UV rejectionat 395 nm | 99.6% | 99.1% | 98.6% |
| Blue light rejectionat 430 nm | 95.7% | 91.5% | 90.2% |
| UV400 readout | 400nm | 400nm | 400nm |
Values transcribed from photos of individual measurements. UV and blue-light rejection refer to the meter’s test wavelengths, not the entire UV or blue-light spectrum. These readings are not an independent certification. Measurement method
What does the UV400 reading mean?
UV400 refers to filtering ultraviolet light up to 400 nm. All three measurement photos show 400 nm on the LS108’s UV400 display. Lens darkness and UV filtering are separate properties: a darker lens does not automatically mean stronger UV protection.
Are the lenses polarized?
No. Strider has non-polarized lenses with a mirrored finish. Polarization, tint and UV filtering are different lens properties.
